| I am a stay at home and a first time mom having a hard time meeting other moms. Any advice? |

| Have you tried www.meetup.com. That is where I found my SAHM's group and I really enjoy it. You can also try to take classes with your little one, that is also a good place to meet other moms. Good luck! |

| i meet a few moms on meetup.com as well. it is harder to find moms that are 1st time moms and have young kids. alot of moms that i hvae met have kids that are 2 or older my son is only 2 1/2 months. |

| Also try your local library for story time, I have been taking my daughter since she was 6 months, she loves to read and sind songs, and it's a great place to meet other moms. |

Hi Christy,
I know what you mean. I'm a first time mom (of twin girls - 7 months) and am having a hard time meeting new moms. I've joined a couple of groups online, but I would love to actually meet with some new moms who would like to spend some time talking to adults in person. If there is any kind of networking site for this kind of group, I'd appreciate finding out what it is.

| I tried meetup.com and found a couple of playgroups in my town, but they haven't had any gatherings lately. I may suggest a gathering in my area and see if that gets things started. Thanks for all the advice. |
