Thanks everyone. I will probably need some boy advice. It's makes me nervous, I feel like I'll have no idea what I'm doing. But then again I didn't the first time and I did alright :) No names yet, I think it's harder for a boy name for some reason. I'll let you know what we come up with!! Lauren I'll probably be asking you for advice :)

So I'm worried about the whole little surgery he'll go through after he's born. The computer won't let me write what it is, so I hope you can read between the lines. Anyway do they numb it, I feel horrible already.

Hi honey - yup, they numb it, but it does take a few days to heal. With some antibotic ointment and vaseline, he'll be fine in a couple of days. I was sad about that too...seems like it's unnecessary and unnatural, but my hubby wanted Anthony to be like daddy, and said he wanted him to be like his other friends in the locker room - guy stuff, I guess. Anyway, a couple days of redness then he'll be fine and never know the difference. :)

Hi sweetie - ok, so I was so concerned with the same thing, but after a few days, some anti-biotic ointment, and some guilt, he'll be just fine! Yes they numb the area, but it does take some time to heal. It will be ok.

So def. didn't mean to write all that a million times!!! :) computer difficulties. But anyway, thank you that makes me feel SO much better. I don't want the little man to suffer. Names are going to be hard I think, I feel like it's harder with boys for some reason. Any ideas??

Hi! I totally didn't mean to post such a similiar message 2x - my computer was being funny too (maybe it was the site?) and I didn't think the 1st one went through.
Yes, boy names are tough....much harder than girls. I feel that boys names should be strong, and not too unique, but that's my opinion...my son's named Anthony, after his Grandfather. I like simple names for boys like Luke, Robert, Matthew, etc...I would've gotten more creative with a girl...good luck! :)

Yay for a boy!! Congratz. Boys are lots of fun and guess what unlike a girl you can wipe there but any way and it wont hurt them haha. Chey is curc'ed to it is quite simple. As for them to numb it and give him the sugar water stuff. It heals pretty quick and didnt seem to bother DS to much at all.
