missing my daughter so bad

I am a mother who lost her custody rights with my 8yr old due to drug used and not being stabe with all three of my kids. I am also feeling real bad cause i left the state where haley in I hate doing but it for the best but the foster care is not trusting me even let her come out to rockford il. to visit and i just want to stop everything i have accomplich and move back to be closer to my daughter cause i miss her so bad.

i have worked in foster care and have dealt with a case involving interstate foster care situations. it is hard and will take forever for all the paperwork to get through. different states have different laws, and the states have to be willing to reallyt work together for it to work. the important thing is to keep working towards your goals and try to maintain a positive attitude because in the long run, the goal of foster care is usually to reunite families when possible. it is hard to moniter an out of state visit, bt it may be possible to come back to the state where your daughter is and have visits with her in her foster care setting and eventually off campus( or out of the foster home or whatever she is residing in) and then they may let you do overnights and the such in a hotel. talk with a lawyer and try to keep working hard. in the end, as long as your kids know you love them, it will be alright.

I am very sorry to hear about your situation Yvonna. Is there a chance that you will be able to get your daughter back soon? How are you doing with the drug use? I hope everything works out great for you and your daughter.
