Hi, I just joined the group. I'm a mom of a 16 month old, and am having trouble finding ways to lose weight. We have basically no budget for joining a gym or a class or whatever, because my husband is currently studying for the BAR exam, and I only work part time. Because my husband studies 24/7, I have to take the baby along on whatever I do. I try to walk or jog every day, but it doesn't always happen and the pregnancy weight just isn't coming off. I've lost maybe 5lbs of my pregnancy weight, and would like to lose the rest of it fast! We're hoping to have another baby in the next year and a half or 2 years, and I really feel like I should be healthy before being pregnant again! Any suggestions? |

I know exactly what you mean with the money situation the gyms are quite expensive. If you dont' mind telling me about yours and your child routine (eating habits, sleep schedule, and your free time if any) that way we can figure out something together for you to be able to workout and still have sanity with your little one. If telling me that info is to personal I understand and I can just give you some information about the things I have been doing the past 3 1/2 months that has been giving results. |

Do you have cable? Comcast has a wonderful set up with "on demand" and then click on sports & fitness, and then exercise tv. There are awesome programs that work every area of your body in all sorts of way, even through dance and yoga. If you can, check it out. It's available 24/7. Plus, check out the library for "FREE" exercise videos. Then you can workout anytime you get that extra moment. Another "FREE" website to use together with exercising is www.sparkspeople.com You can track your food, weight, chat with others, etc. It is a great program! |
