OK this is a little tricky... I consider myself a SAHM because until 1:45 I am... then my babysitting job begins with picking up my 2 girls that I watch and taking them to sports practices and/or games... so my official work day is only about 3-4 hours a day... with a lot of driving involved! But it works out great because I make a little money and I get to have my 2 year along with me :) Probably the only downfall is NAP TIME!! My daughter NEVER gets a sufficient nap in the car, even though she will fall asleep every day in the car it ends up being only a 25-35 min nap... not enough!! So when my job gets canceled due to the girls having plans with friends/family/taking a trip etc. I have to say it is really nice to have the whole day at home to get ALL my stuff done and being able to lay her down for a good nap, giving me an actual break as well!! |

Hi, have you tried putting her down for a nap around 11:00 am? If she's an early riser that may work. |

We were having nap trouble because I work also but in the morning. So when it was nap time mommy was coming home, to then take her and go run erands etc. So my husband started getting her up a little earlier in the morning(kinda sucks) then she was taking an earlier longer nap around 10-11 |

I like nap time. I should be taking one myself but I find that is the time I can really buckle down and make calls for my WAH job. When my 7 m/o doesn't take a good nap I don't get any work done at all................ |
