Hi, I am new to this sight as well and have had a challenging time meeting new moms with similar interests in my area (tucson) but am checking out some groups. It feels like a whole new existence. I am thinking about starting a playgroup and trying to find good places to post a notice to meet some new people. Good luck and I'm sure you'll find what you need and at least there is a sight when there is nothing else to do.

| Hi Dawn, Basically you post messages either venting to people who understand what your going through, or you can ask questions about yours or your babies health, ect. We may not be professionals, but its a learning experience for everyone here. Welcome. |

Hi Dawn,
This is a great site to meet other moms in the area or online. It's nice to be able to ask questions, clarify any doubts, share frustations, and etc. I live in Everett, Wa and I found a local group near my home. That might be a little far for you. You can try creating your own group in the Tacoma area. I think the closest to you is in Seattle. In addition, a lot of places like churchs and libraries have activities for parents and their children. However, we are here if you just need someone to talk to. Welcome to the group and congratulations! |
