| I'm new to Omaha and I have a 13 month-old daughter. I would really like to find a playgroup for her and meet some other moms. I would welcome any suggestions! |

My wife and I have a 2 year old son (Turned 2 April 4th) and we live in Omaha. We are also looking for a playgroup in Omaha. Please let us know if you find a playgroup. What town or cirty did you come from?

I haven't had any luck in finding a playgroup. I tried International Moms Club, but they didn't really give me any information. The last email I got from the president said that they couldn't talk to me anymore until I sent my yearly dues. I wasn't too impressed. I've also tried myomahamommies.com, but they have to approve your membership, supposedly within 48 hours, and it's been over 96.
Most recently my husband and I lived in Arizona, but we were only there for two years and we both grew up in places with really cold winters and decided we needed different seasons.
I am a stay-at-home mom; what does your wife do? What part of Omaha do you live in? We're in the southwest. |

My wife, Angela, is also a stay at home mom. We live in Ponca Hills and I work in Southwest Omaha. She has also encountered similar situations to yours in trying to become involved with a playgroup. She is hoping to find some people that are interested in developing a small playgroup.
