To much hughs!!
My son of 27 months old is a very loving and friendly toddler. He likes to hugh!!! too much I think. He just started his school and when everyone arrives he is the greatter! Huhgs and kisses.
I feel a little weird to see other parents looking at him like if it that is ok??. We hugh him a lot and kiss.
He even think kissing in the mouth is the only way bc when the 3 of us hugh and kiss each etheir he sees my hubby doing in the mouth and he thinks is the only way!!! We are telling him to kiss on the chic but hopeffully soon will understand.

It is normal?? Is he missing more love??? Gwad we say We love you a lot and hugh him a lot. He is the first grandchild so he has a lot of love around.
Please hope someone can give me any advice.

Angela,

He isn't missing love as he wants to share it with everyone. You just need to teach him that the hugs and kisses that are for family are different than the hugs and kisses for friends. You'll have to show him too and then make sure he sticks to it. You can have him ask the person first if he can hug them. You can tell him that even though you are very loving with him, that some other families don't show their love as much or as openly and he has to ask first. Just a suggestion. My son isn't that old yet, but that is how I'd handle it. Maybe someone with an older baby could reply with real experience.
