I am a homeschool mom. This is my first year to do this. It has had its ups and downs. I am glad they are young enough 7 &6 y.o. girls and boy 3 y.o. that I can learn from mistakes now and it won't affect them permantly in there future education endeavors. I am trying to search for a curriulum for next year that is easy to teach without a lot of lecturing or but also challenging enough so that they are not board. I do not do well with making my own lesson plans. I love free resources which I have found helpful. I you have any advice or suggestions for curriculum I would be happy. I am conisdering using abeka and possibily some A.C.E.(Accelerated Christian Education). I hear a lot of I'm board and I hate school. traditional school would be no better I would struggle with homework. I want school to be fun but yet lots of learning.

This was our third year of homeschooling and to be honest I still haven't found that perfect curriculum. This next year I will be using different things. Bob Jones for Bible and English, Horizon Math, a Time like thing (I can't think of the name at the moment LOL. I'd have to go look) for History and Science we will be using God's Design for Life. Along with a few other things. I think it's a never ending thing LOL. Thankfully we can always suppliment right? LOL. Welcome to the Group!
