i am looking for other mothers with newborn children to have playgroups with in the grammercy, murray hill, or union square neighborhoods

Hi Michele, There is a yahoo mommy group started last year for moms in the Murray Hill area. I can't remember the exact name but if you do a search for Murray Hill moms in Yahoo Groups you will find them. Also, check out the 14th Street Y. It is a gym but they have a lot of classes for new moms, including an excellent mommy group. You don't have to be a member to join those. It is on 14th Street between 1st and 2nd Ave.
My daughter is 16 months now but I joined those groups when she was just born and I have found a lot of support and new friends there.

i am looking for infant/toddler playgrups that i ca bring my son Aden to. He is going on 11 mnths and loves to get a ton of physical activity. if anyone knows of any playgroups where my son would be able to nteract with other children his age (give or take) please inform me :)
