anyone live in nyc on in the grammercy, murray hill, union sqaure area looking for a playdate for their newborn child? my son is 8 weeks old and i would love to meet someone with a baby boy or girl in his age range . anyone know if any groups that meet up in these neighborhoods?

Hi! I'm not exactly in your area, (I'm in Astoria, NY) but I'm also looking to find a playgroup/playdate. My daugther is 7 weeks old. If you have found any good sites or groups can you let me know?

| For great playdates in your area, go to www.meetup.com and search for playdates, or stay at home moms in your area. Hope this helps! |

| I agree meetup.com is great. You can also try themommiesnetwork.com and see if there is a local group in your area...this site is awesome if you have one in your area. They have playdates arranged by when your child starts Kindergarten. |
