Hi, my name is Brenna and I just recently left my husband... My daughter is 10 months old and I'm not sure where to go from here... Any advice?

Hi Brenna, You can go anywhere you want to! I was a single mom for 11 years. I divorced my husband when my daughter was around 7 years old. It wasn't easy but it was for the best. I managed to raise her and myself up! My daughter is now turning 22 in May. We are very close.You can make a good life for you and your daughter. Just believe in yourself and you'll find the courage. I lived that advice. Good luck!

The first step is to breathe!! When my ex walked out on me & our 2 kids I was devastated. I knew it needed to happen & I am glad that it did. But I stressed for a long time over things that were out of my control. You have made a brave first step, the only way to go now is up!!! You need a good support system. Whether it be friends & family that live close or somewhere like here. I am new to this group (just started today) but after reading thru some of the posts I can just tell that this is a wonderful place. You will do great!!! It won't always be easy but you will be just fine. Just like( I am sure) everyone else, if you ever need to talk we are just a computer away!!! Take care!!! LOVE & HUGS, Heather
