Hello Ladies, I am very saddened as I have had to supplement my breastfeeding with formula as I cannot pump enough for feedings when my husband or other possible caretakers need to have a bottle. Has anyone had experience with making their own formula? Thank you, Carrie |

I have to supplement also because I was not producing enough. I buy her formula but she only gets 1 bottle a day of it. Have you tried the Mother's milk tea? or drinking a beer a couple of times a week with dinner? Hops helps your milk production and that tea works wonders also. I use the kroger brand gentle ease formula it is not bubbly and she doesn't have gas problems with it. Good luck |

Yes, thank you I have tried Mother's Milk, beer/Guiness, Fenugreek, pumping all the time, etc. and nothing seemed to make much of a difference. I have just heard about the Lact-Aid (if that's spelled right). I had never heard of it before and I'm not sure if I should try that or not. I have been using an organic formula which seems to be fine but I would like to know more about what's in it ie: making my own if possible. Thanks again for your response. Carrie |

Hi Carrie, Check out this site, it has a few different ways to make your own formula. I really wish I had this information when my daughter was still on it.
