Welcome Katie!

20 months is a fun age. When my son was 20 mnths, we THOUGHT he was hitting the "terrible two's" early. A couple of months later, we realized we were wrong (hahaha) but, I wouldn't trade any of the craziness for the world!

My son is 19 months and he does seem to be in terrible 2s but Melissa I guess that's just the smoke before the fire lol.

"the smoke before the fire" is a great way to describe it. My mom always told me I had NO patience but, she now tells me I amaze her with the amount of patience I have acquired with a 2 yr old and a 7 mo old. The best part about the terrible twos is that JUST when you think you are at your breaking point, they do something so incredibly adorable and loving you can't help but just hug 'em and kiss 'em. it's actually a pretty great age, you just gotta be on your toes!

Welcome Kate, Melissa that is so true when my son was 20 months old I was so sure we were in our TT's but I learned very quickly what the TT's are all about but you are also correct about them doing the best things, Like when he is just in a total mood and everything is crazy and he comes up to me and hugs me and says he loves me. I would not change it for a minute (well maybe a minute everyonce in a while LOL)

My daughter is 2 (and 3&1/2 months old) and I agree that this is just a great age! Even the trying times, it is so awesome ... watching each and every situation be a learning experience for them, watching them absorb everything around them and applying it to their little world...I love it!
