Hello Everyone
I am a single mom after being married for 20 years I find that I am raising my 2 children by myself. This challenge is one of the toughest that I have ever faced but I know for sure that it has made me stronger.

| Hi Pam, Welcome! Yeah, being a single parent is pretty tough. I know its a struggle for all of us, but I know you can do it. I feel like I've been a single parent since they were born, and I not sure if at any point it gets easier. We just have to keep our head up and know that everything you do is for them. Hi Pam,
I have to agree that raising a child by yourself is one of the hardest things in the world to do, but to me, it's alot better than raising a child by yourself while your husband (or whoever) is capable of helping you, but won't. I'm happy to say that at least I don't have to fight that battle anymore, and I can just concentrate on raising my child.

Hi Pam...
Obviously, you will get tons of support from some very strong and confident women here!!! Welcome to the group.. How old are your children? Is their father remaining involved with their lives (I hope)? Do you have a good support group (family) to help you along? How long have you been a single mom? |
