Hi,
I just wanted to invite anyone who is looking for playgroups or support to look into MOMS Club. We're an international, non-profit agency that has chapters supporting moms worldwide, including Austin. I'm in the Austin NE Chapter, which serves North Central and North East Austin - each chapter has boundaries, so if you aren't in our chapter, we can refer you to someone who would help you find the chapter near you.
Our activities include playgroups divided by age, group-wide activities for kids (ex: field trips to Crowe's Nest Farm, park days, pool days, meetings at Amy's), moms night out, family nights out, charity drives and activities, and informational speakers on topics pertaining to parenting and community resources. We have a group of really nice, down to earth moms of all age ranges. The kids range from under 6 months to about 7 years (their playgroup is after school.
