Thanks to everyone! Does anyone know how to make a baby wrap? |

No, I tried, but I don't think the fabric was streachy enough, so we went back to the good 'ol ring sling. If you find good instructions, please pass them on. I would love to try to us a wrap, but can't talk myself into shelling out the dough :)

Hey Jennifer,
I used a Moby wrap with my son. I bought it online for about $45.00. It's just a REALLY long piece of cotton fabric that comes with instructions on how to carry your baby a million different ways. It was great for me when my son was born because he would cry everytime we put him down. I just wrapped him up in front of me and did whatever housework I needed to do while he either slept, or watched me. The fabric and different ways to wrap and hold your child are designed to evenly distrubute weight as to not put any undue stress on your body. Google 'Moby Wrap', and you'll find out all kinds of info. When my son was able to hold his head up, I would hike the mountain with him facing forward. He loved it. You can use the wrap up until your baby weighs 30 lbs (I think). Hope this helps. |

I've used a Moby Wrap too and also tried the pouch type slings. Although the Moby is quite a lot of fabric and takes some effort to use at first, I thought it was so great. Comfy for Mom and baby. Also, it's great because you can put on the wrap and put the baby in and out without having to readjust the wrap too much. |
