Hi, I'm Krissy. My three kids range in age from one-month to 6 1/2. Just wanting to say hello and meet people. We're a Christian family. We go to Belton Assembly and love it. Infact there's a worship concert tonight at 7 pm that we're going to. It's just our band, our youth's band, and a band from Grandview Assembly as well. If anyone likes worship music it's located on 58 highway near 163rd.
We are looking to join the zoo for $65.00 this year. I can't believe it's so cheap! We can go as many times as we like. Anyone else interested, email me. I want to join for the excercise. I'm very out of shape, very uh... plump... but I need to change this for health reasons. I'm game for a lot, but I'm tired all the time. I'm sure I can turn that around, though.
Anyway, that's me right now in a nutshell. Hello everyone!

Welcome! This group is pretty quiet, but I just wanted to say that I have several friends that are Friends of the Zoo, and I had been thinking about joining, too! My friends were talking about going to the Preschool Walking thing last week. I am not sure if some of them went of not. If you join (and if I join), it would be fun to meet and walk together. I am also a member of Cass County Mothers & More. If you are intersted in a great group for fun mom and tot and mom only activites, Cass County Mothers & More is a FANTASTIC group of women. We have a group on this site and also a site of our own.

Yes, I'd just heard about that from a mom that goes all the time. She emailed me about the FOTZ (friends of the zoo for anyone that doesn't know) membership and the preschool/toddler group they offer on thursdays. I'm very interested in joining as well. Can't believe how affordable the Kansas City Zoo is!
I just joined the Cass County Mommy & Me group the other day as well. I was just suddenly motivated to get moving on meeting other moms, now I'm getting a bunch of excellent responses and I'm looking forward to getting involved. |
