Has anyone evedr attended a MOPS group. I was praying about startting a geoup at my church, but it isnt very large, and I am not sure howw long it might take yto get people from outside our church coming. I watched a video and I am interested, but wanted more info as what you do at the meetings, is it fellowship, or all speaking or what.any input would be appreciated.

yes, MOPS is great.. I went last year when my kids were two and 4 and this year I have not been able to go because I teach a mommy and me class on the same days as MOPS.. My church has MOPS. There might be something on the website about it.. I will look and see and let you know if there is.. I went to the MOPS and my friends church and I loved it.. It started out very small.. IT does not take long to get other moms to come.. You can get guest speakers to come and give tips . We had a gal come and speak that had five children and they had been missionaries and she was a great speaker and then we had a man come and speak about finances and how to really seek god's will in finances.. Then we had a mak-up day. Someone that sold Arbonne brought stuff in and she was not selling but just a day of pampering.. They did their toes.. People also brought in food for a pot-luck.. They started with ten moms from the church and at the end of last year they had 30 or 40 moms. The older retired ladies in the church volunteered to do babysitting..
