Hello, I am currently having problems being a friend and a mom at the same time. I guess my question is how do i just be mom and no longer a friend to be able to gain the respect from my son??? |

Hey Jennifer,
I know this post is old and you probably have gotten help by now, but I just joined and thought I would give you my 2 cents. I think it is a fine balance between friendship and parental duties. There has to be a definate feeling in the home that you are the one in charge and you make the rules, but at the same time we can have fun together. I have found that works best here. Hope all is well! |
