trying for number 2
Now I know my daughter is only 8 months old, but I also only see my husband once a month due to his job and I have been thinking about baby number two. I was wondering how long it took some of you to concieve again. We do want them close in age so this is not a problem (by time he comes home next she will be 9 months and given the RARE chance it happens then they will be 18 months apart). It took us about 5 months, but only 2 of them were very serious trying to concieve. I have heard it is harder to concieve a second time and I was just wondering how true that was. Thanks!

I don't think its harder to conceive the second time. We weren't even trying to have another baby after our first son was born, but when he was 6 months old we found out that number 2 was on the way. My boys are 15 months apart and are exactly the same size so people think that they are twins! I love having them that close in age and wouldn't change a thing! Good Luck to you guys on conceiving number 2 soon!

My sister in-law it only took them one time to get pregnant. I do know that if you are nursing still it'll lower your chance of becoming pregnant. When you stop nursing you have more of a chance. My husband and I are trying again. I just stopped nursing. You have to start your vitamins and folic acid a month to three months before. Good LUCK!!!
