Ok...so I accidentally hit picnic bar when I really meant Pinky Bar. Although it is a very tough choice because I love my Crunchie Bars too.
There was a place on Camino Real further north of Palo Alto that i got Crunchies from. Also got puff pastry or was it actual sausage rolls?
Anyway, it is nice to live in a big city where you have the access to this type of food. Unfortunately (or fortunately) nothing like that in boonie Spring Lake!
My fav of all are Pineapple Lumps and the girls love banana lollies and Freddo Frogs thanks to Nana Kropp! |

Yum! I LOVE banana lollies! I also love Freddo frogs, but only the peppermint-filled kind which I haven't seen for years.
There's a Fijian owned grocery store in San Leandro, Mangal's Market, that has some Kiwi and Aussie products so I go there once in a while, but I find I have to be careful because the food is sometimes out of date.
I miss sausage rolls! I've found pepperidge farm sells frozen puff pastry sheets, but American sausage just isn't the same as Kiwi sausage meat.
What I miss most though, is really good fish & chips - preferably fresh blue cod. I'm drooling at the thought!
Have you heard of Goodwood's British Market? You can buy British chocolate bars online there like picnics, crunchies, and flakes and get them shipped to you. They also do some frozen foods, including sausage rolls, I think. Their address is:

| Oh Chris...I just can't justify buying candy and paying postage:) My mother in law was just in NZ and took up half her luggage with banana lollies, pineapple lumps, Roses seconds and jubes. I felt so guilty and seem to ba making a big dent in them by myself. Luckily Jeff doesn't see what i see in the lumps so stays away. In fact, I've banned him from eating any of my NZ candy because he could never appreciate it as much as I do. Hey, i don't know about you but i'm having a hard time getting the pregnancy pounds off so don't need to be indulging anyway:) |

I haven't lost my pregnancy weight either! I have recently decided to get serious about eating less ... let's see how long I last!
Mum sent me pineapple lump flavored easter eggs this year - they were really good! Hey, I need a treat now and then ....!
