is she just high maintenance?

My 11 week wants to be held constantly or else she will just cry and cry and cry. Anyone else going through this too? When we hold her and she can watch her brothers she is completely fine so I don't think she has colic or anything

That is completely normal for a baby that age. It is trying, especially for moms who have other children to care for . And you aren't free to move around as you would like to, even to do things like showering or going to the bathroom. It's frustrating. Having a baby sling is awesome because you get to move around and have a little more freedom and your baby will get that attachment to you that she really needs right now. I just had my 4th baby in January and bought a sling for her and now I don't know how I managed without it before. Your baby just wants to be part of the gang, pretty soon you'll get your space, just hang in there!

Thanks Shannon. It really is trying. Did you "wear" your other 3 children?I do feel kind of overwhelemd with the transition from 2-3 kids. I only had to wear my older two when we were out and about. I did buy the ultimate baby wrap for this one and she does like it and so do I, I just wonder why I am so reluctant to wear her in the house. I guess, the times I want to put her down are so I can get myself and my older two dressed or run things out to the car or make lunch/dinner. She will just cry which I don't mind for her sake but I do for my sanity. She seems to hate the car seat carrier even though she isn't in it all that much.
