New mom on the block!!

Hey ladies, hope all is well w/ you and yours!! So glad to have found a website geared towards parents!! Being a stay at home mom of one child, leaves you out of the loop, so to speak! Hi! I just stumbled across this website today looking for fun things to do with my son here. We are from North Carolina, about an hour and 15 minutes away and moved here because of my husband's job at the shipyard. Things are great, just left all our friends and schedules behind for my son to start Kindergarten here, in a much different type of neighborhood. No luck on the kids in the neighborhood to play with yet...let me know if you want to get the kids together, there is a great park called City Park over this way!
