This time he will be gone for only 4 months. He was in Red Horse so this is kinda a joke to us, even though it still sucks. Were used to the 6-8 month long deployments every 18 months. |

same place also.... I have learned to not worry or believe anything until I see a dna test with a body part. Other then that I believe he will always come home to me. We were both miltiary brats and I was in the AF until I became pg with my twins. We have key things that we say to each other if it gets bad and he "might" be in danger to put me on alert. |

Hey Erin. My heart goes out to you. My Dad was in the AF for 32 years and went on SOOOOO many deployments. And my husband is in the National Guard and he went to Iraq 2005-2007.
By the way, what is a SAHM?
Take care

Well I always worry, no matter where he goes...my husband has a dangerous job, so I even worry when he is right here at home....he is EOD, which (don't know if you know, some people do and some don't!) means he disarms bombs and the like....my biggest worry is that our daughter won't remember him when he comes home this time....he left one other time since she has been born, but she was only 3 mnths when he left and 11 mnths when he came home, so she didn't know that much of him when he left either, but this time she knows him and knows when he is gone....how do your children react when their dad leaves and comes home?? They are about the same age as my daughter, who will be 2 in May... |
