hello, new here

hello everyone, my name is Stacie I have a 2 year old boy named Ben. I was just wondering everyones advice on making him sleep in his own bed all night long. right now we are working on it. hes been staying in his bed (surprised there) but he sits there and cries mama mama. or just cries. if anyone has an easier way it would be great thanks

Hello Stacie I have been in your situation. At least some what. both my boys now 4 and 5 would never stay in there beds. night time was a nightmare. always fighting and arguing to keep them in there bed. It took awhile of just putting them back in there beds. but even the dr. told me to not even talk to them just keep doing it. But i dont think there is an easier way. he will just have to throw his fit. it will get easier i promise. however my 4 yr old still wonders from room to room sometimes in the night. good luck. hope i helped a little bit heather

Stacie; I have three boys and my youngest was like that too. We tried everything from rocking him to sleep to a nightlight to a cd with music. Nothing seemed to work until I decided to try my vioce on a tape. I sang simple songs that were soft and slow and even made up a poem just for him on it. It worked like a charm and to this day, he loves that tape.. Just a suggestion..I understand...Becky
