I've been speaking to my son in Spanish since I found out that I was pregnant with him. My husband on the other hand only speaks English even though he's Italian, Portuguese, Spain. Unfortunately my in laws didn't teach him how to speak another lanuage. It would've been great if my son could've learned more lanuages from his parents.

Yes, I know what you mean. My husband is half Italian because his mother was from Italian immigrant family. However, he doens' know any Italian. The only Italian trait htat he has is dark skin complection and his love for pastas ;-)

My husband also loves his pasta. I on the other hand can't eat pasta everyday nor can I go for seconds but w/Spanish food I can't stop eating :)
