In a way, being both a stay at home dad and a work at home dad is quite a challenge. Don't get me wrong, it's a great experience, but it's sometimes hard to do both at the same time. My wife is also a SAHM/WAHM so obviously we have a system for handling the kids when they are not at school (she would tell you *she* does everything I do nothing, but eh, in this group, you wont believe it :-) LOL)
I guess the challenge is really that sometimes, you need a bit of quiet time to work (at least web stuff like I do) or a conference call, and having two screaming 5-year olds is not always compatible.
I close the door to my office, ask my wife to help, put on an occasional DVD, but sometimes, I have to say I miss my quiet office...
I wonder if anyone is in the same boat?

Hi, Alain,
It sounds as though your family is quite similar to my family in terms of work environment and lifestyle. My husband is a musician, and I am a math teacher who is trying to change career fields (from education to psychology). We have one son, who will turn 1 tomorrow, and expect another in October.
Any advice you can give us on making this arrangement work well is welcome.
