Ok so my daughter is too young to be attached to our dog but i bawled my eyes out today. He lives wiht my parents because we can't keep him here and he got hit by a car today and they had to put him down. I've had him since i was in high school, he pretty much was my baby before i had katie. My hubby is being a jerk about it. His response was "oh well shit happens" That almost hurts more than monster actually dying. The worst part is that my parents live 2 hours away so i could be there when he went to sleep. I just needed some support on this, my hubby thinks i need to get over it. THanks for listening |

I am so sorry! You should tell him how you feel! Some people feel dogs are just dogs...not actual people! My hubby cried when we lost our bunny! |

So sorry about your dog. It's harsh the way it happened..and you have every reason to feel sad about his death. He was an intergal part of your young adulthood and I'm sure you'll miss him. Don't try to make your husband understand how you're feeling. He doesn't have to feel sad about the dog, but he should be more caring that you're sad about your dog. Anyway, hope you get to feeling better soon! |

So sorry to hear about your dog. I completely understand how they become a member of the family and such an integral part of your life. |

I know what you mean about the dog being your baby before you had your daughter. Our dog is the same way. She use to be our babygirl, but now she is our babygirl dog. I am so sorry about your dog. |

My dog was my first baby, too. She was my roommate and buddy when I moved from Texas to Arizona. Please accept my deepest condolences to you for your loss; dogs are part of the family, too. |
