Hi, Holly, I'm from Mexico we are teaching our Kyra 3 languages, we are going with one parent one language. I speak to her only spanish my husband english and he takes her to Mandarin classes when ever he can. She is only 15 months old, but she understands both languages, I do think how ever that she will be a little slower at speaking, but that is just my opinion. When we go out we speak to her in english so other kids can understannd. Hopes this helps, nice to meet you Holly. Liz. |

Hi Liz Thanks for the advice. That is what we are currently doing right now. My husband is speaking to her only in Spanish and I'm only speaking to her in English. It's good to hear that your little one isnt having a problem understanding the both. |
