Vero, I see that you are in NJ so I would say that you can start to get your bulbs out as soon as the ground thaws out and you are not expecting a freeze. Keep in mind though that alot of the bulbs that you plant this year (at any time) may not come up until next year. If you plant alot of late summer early fall bulbs in March or April you may get some to come up this year but only anticiapte about half. As far as preparing the soil I am not sure what to tell you about that. i really do not do much fertilizing or anything like that I just plant them in the soil and hope for the best. |

I walked around and counted the big plants that are planted and will come back that some 1 here planted.I forget their names. Its late and I have been sick.Any way I want all flowers so Ill be moving them when they come up.We also have alot of those cedar bushes.I cannot stand bushes. They all all around our house. We also live on the flea capital of the world and had about 5 million fleas erupt out of the ground when it started thawing out. Most of em died or went back into the ground. We shall see when spring gets here more and everything is thawed out and stays that way.I started a diagram of planting but I am more interested in what I can plant veggie wise first. |
