Parents with children diagnosed with PDD/Autism

Intro

I am a mom of four. My oldest has been in special education programs and therapies almost since birth. He is 11 and as puberty and middle school enter into the picture I realize I still don't know it all--LOL. He is wheelchair bound, umbrella diagnosed with mild Cerebral Palsy, and Aspergers Syndrome. We live in Nevada and haven't met anyone quite like us yet. My daughter, 10, has a metal heart valve that was placed 5 years ago and she is doing great with it. My youngest son, 7, and step daughter, 10, are hyper kids who love the limelight. I have experience with a lot of medical issues both through research and being there with my kids. I also have 9 years of single parenting under my belt which only recently changed when I married in Nov. So I am a newlywed with a blended family too. I look forward to making friends here.
