Hi Everyone:
First off, I want to welcome any new members to the group that I haven't welcomed since the last time I wrote a message to this group.
Second of all, I want to explain that the reason I didn't send anything on this group for a long time was because of 2 reasons: I wasn't getting any responses from anyone at the time [and I'm not being accusing, cause Gosh only knows I know how busy life with children can be!] but after awhile I gave up, and then later my whole marriage fell apart in a most cruel and horrible way, due to my husband, not me [I did not want the marriage to end, he did]. So I was quite in familial turmoil for awhile.
But now things are settling down, and I'd like to give this a group another try. And I think how I will start this is by asking if anyone has any ideas of what they might like to do as a first meetup? My general idea was to have us meet, and if enough people joined, combine money to have someone watch our kids while we had fun playing games and talking, and I'd still like that. But I think maybe working up to that gradually might be a better idea, and we can start by meeting at playgrounds or just meeting at mine or someone else's house for a big playdate, or something else. So if you have any ideas, feel free to share them. And If all you had in mind for this group is to just chat with each other over the group's message board, then feel free to say that and do that too on here.
In other words I just want to see if I can get this group started for real and have people meet and stuff and have fun and socialize, or at least socialize over the net using this group! So if you have any ideas, suggestions, comments, or whatever, please feel free to pipe up and speak out!
