I live in NW Indiana and the winter has been draggin gon, well we had some rain the last few days and I was out on the porch and looked over and I have tulip sprouts, my crocus' will be coming up soon and I can not wait, I am also glad we will be switching our clocks this weekend because it means more daylight....

I went to Meijers yesterday and saw all kinds of bulbs for sale.My problem is that I have no idea where I can plant stuff yet.I have these gawd awful tree bushes all along the house perimeter.I do not like bushes at all.I have no idea what has been planted all around the house where there are no bushes cause we moved here late fall.I have a picture of a neat lil herb garden that I want to try and plant out front, but cant yet til I am sure that this snow and frost is done.I am so sick of this snow this yr.My regular garden is going to be behind the garage if everything goes right.Oh and we have 4 mil.fleas out in the yard right now.They came out the other day and sat on top of the snow and now they are going back into the ground.So I am sure that we are going to be infested this spring/summer.It seems that we live on the top of the flea world.I was told that Terminex cant come and spray until this spring.I am also a lil worried because we are on well water.Do I really want my children to drink pesticide?
