Hi, I'm a mother of eight children. My husband have his, mine and ours :) The children range in age from 22 years old to 6 months old. It's a blast at our house, never a dull moment here! Most of my friends can't relate to me anymore. They are happy to have their children grown and out of the house. My husband and I are starting over with "our" family. So far.... I haven't been asked if the babies are my grandchildren yet. Age is a state of mind anyway right? Hope to hear from other mothers of large families.

Hi, it is very refreshing to see another mother here that has a wide range of children in her household. And no, most of our friends can't relate to us either! Their children are either grown or they just have really little ones. The ones that have grown children are always asking us out to do "adult night" and cannot understand our sometimes hectic schedules when we cannot go out. We thought about having a family of "our own" but have decided instead to help my teenage daugther (my baby) raise her baby instead. People typically assume my grandson is mine. And yes, age is a state of mind! So far, I haven't lost it :) My mind that is!

Welcome!! My kids aren't quite as spread out, but I understand the comments. My family sometimes asks me what I was thinking...lol. I love it tough. Have a great day!!
