Hi All,
My name is Maisy Barnette and I am not a mom, but yearn to be one someday soon. I am working for a great community organization called HIPPY, which is Home Instruction for Parents of Pre-School Youngsters as a home visitor. This is a great resource for all families in the local community. It's free, we come to you, and the emphasis is on empowering you as the parent or guardian of your three or four year old child as their first teacher in the home. We provide role playing activities, instructional curriculum and free materials for you to work one on one with your own child. All you have to do is dedicate 15-20 minutes a day to spending with your child. At the end, your child comes away with a mini-library of books and he/she is prepared for school.
