This is really eerie because this happened to me just today. At first all I could do was stand there staring at the bus driver as she told me that he never even got on the bus. I ran home as fast as I could with my 2 yr old daughter in an umbrella stroller and my poor 3 yr old daughter trying as best she could to keep up. My heart sank to the pit of my stomach. There were so many things running through my mind. I was nervous and scared. I imediately called the school and told them my son did not get off the bus. They asked my son's name. I told them and th woman said "He's right here in front of my face." The Dean of the elementary school my son goes to had brought him to the office stating he was to be a car rider today. For reasons yet unknown. With having only one vehicle which my boyfriend drives to work there was no way for me to go pick him up. I tried my neighbor, she wasn't home so i got in contact with a woman who lives down the street from me who has 2 boys that attend the same schol. She was able to drive me to the school to pick him up. I was so relieved to find out that he was still at the school. I was also so angry with the Dean of the school and will be having some extremely serious words with her tomorrow. I have to wait until tomorrow because, and get this, she was gone before I even got home from the busstop! Ayway my son is home I am relieved.
