What is the point of having a group w/out any activities scheduled...?? Does anybody know about a playgroup for 10 mo olds that meets on a regular basis? It looks as though everybody posts about there desire to meet people, but nobody does anything about actually organizing, etc. ...I do not have the time to put a group together per say, but I would help to get it going... Hello...is anybody out there??? |

Hello, I just signed up with this group and I am looking at meeting some new people. I just moved back to Vegas after being in Georgia for a few years and all my old friends moved away. I am in the Centennial Hills area and if anybody is close I would love to meet a park with the kids. Please let me know if anyone is interested. |

I run a group on Meetup.com but don't like to "steal" people from other groups. Check out the site - there's TONS of moms groups here in Vegas that meet regularly (there's no spell check, forgive me).
I belong to and suggest The Baby Luck club, they're in Henderson mainly but the moms are awesome (I don't run this group, I just love it).
I belong to a couple Meetup groups and run one as well - I like to keep busy! My group is MOMS of LV which is for kids born between 2005-2007. I would suggest keeping this group as well in case they start up again, we all offer different opportunities!
Good luck! |

I can relate to your post, Jen. I happen to be a single dad with two daughters, ages 3 and 10. It's always a challenge to find other parents who want to arrange play dates. Please feel free to reply if you are interested in arranging one. You're absolutely right; there's always a lot of talk, but very little action. My kids needs friends and I hope to find some for them here in the Valley. |
