| I am the mother of a two and a half year old boy. He is really shy and I would like to meet some moms with kids his age to meet at parks or beaches for him to play with. We moved here from Seattle WA. I have a daughter due in april '08. He is, like I said, VERY shy, not really overly sensitive just shy with new people. He is surrounded by adults, aunts, grandparents, ect as there aren't any other kids in our family. |

No not really. I have found a mothers online forum. It is called BAM "Bay Area Mothers" They meet once or twice a month sometimes with kids and sometimes without. I really enjoy the forum but most of the gatherings are in pearland. I still haven't found any close by.
No I haven't delivered yet. Its soon though. I am so uncomfortable I can't wait. |

| I'm sure you've heard this over and over, but enjoy the time with your little man now, because your time with him will be so different very soon. I suppose for my older son and I it was a huge shock because it had been only him and I for so long. 11 years is a long time apart. If and when you feel up to it, I would love to get our boys together to play. It could be at a park, or they could play here. I have plenty of ride-on toys, a large porch, etc. Even before you deliver, that may be an option for you, as uncomfortable as you are, you could just lounge on the couch as opposed to park benches. The invite is open, just let me know! |
