Looking to meet other local working moms

I have two children that are 2 and 8 months and I work full time. I have a flexible job so I get to try and build my schedule around my family (though not as much as I would like). I live in the Baltimore suburbs and I did not grow up here so I do not have a "built-in" social network of girlfriends. I would particularly like to meet other working moms with little kids to socialize and network with. I would love to attend a playgroup with my little ones to meet other moms.

Wendy: I'm a working mom living in the Baltimore suburbs too. We moved here from DC (where my husband and I still work) a little over a year ago. We have a wonderful almost 18 month old boy who spends a good amount of time in day care. I have been looking for some sort of working mothers' group; not only because your typical SAHM groups meet during regular working hours, but also I find that working mothers face some different challenges than stay at home moms. Anyway, I tried to join your Baltimore Working Moms group. Not sure if it worked. -Cara
