Taryn-
I just wanted to check in that I am getting ready to start my 30 minutes of cardio.
Also, I really need help with food ideas. I don't know if I need to keep a journal of everything I am eating or what not? I want to make sure that I am eating healthier. Since I've been heavy so long, I don't exactly know what is or isn't a good choice to be eating. Any ideas?
For example, this morning for breakfast, I had a light yogurt, 2 eggs and a sausage patty. The sausage is probably really greasy, which in turn is high in fat. Should I have peanut butter toast instead of the sausage? I know peanut butter has protein in it also, but not sure of the fat content.
If anyone has any ideas that can help, I'd sure appreciate them!

Hey Dawn,
Keeping a food journal is a really good idea. That way you can look back and see what you have been eating. If you want to do one online, go to www.slimbodycoach.com and sign up for a free membership. Then you have access to the Food Calorie Counter and you can see how many calories you ate and then add the food to your food diary. You can do a personal report for yourself and a zillion other things. I had entered the Slim Body Challenge after I had Ally and lost like 35 pounds. You dont have to enter the challenge if you dont want, just log on and use the other tools. They even have coaches that can talk to you and a forum where you can talk to others who are trying to lose weight too. Give it a try! |
