She loves to snack and granit she does like healthy snack foods but she doesn't eat good meals. This concerns me because I am afraid if I don't let her snack she won't get what she needs from her meal because she is such a picky eater. does anyone have any suggestions?
Hi! I have always been told it is especially healthy to snack. If that is when she gets her "healthy" foods it should not really concern you. Atleast she is eating them. It is more a reassurance than a suggestion. I have one: In recipes( spagetti sauce, lasagna, hamburger helper almost anything) you can ground up fruits, grains( flaxseed, bran, etc...) and they will be eating healthy and do not have to know. If they are not used to eating it you will have to start gradually, so they do not reject the food altogether. You may want to also serve something on the side as well. So, if they will eat it it is available. Then they can decide for themselves when they are older. I hope this trick is helpful. Good luck!
I guess your right about snacking if she is snacking on healthy foods it shouldn't be a concern.Sometimes you just need another mother to reasure you. Thanks again!
