I only have to please my son at lunch. I usually pick something and cook it, sounds simple enough. He does not always eat it. Today he went to the pantry and grabbed two boxes of crackers. They were 12 grain and very healthy, so I worked with it. I had spagitti sauce left over from lunch yesterday. spagetti sauce crackers cheese I warmed up the spagetti sauce, placed it on the crackers and put cheese on top. Warmed it in the microwave and served it to him on one of his plates. I never knew it could be so easy. The spagetti sauce has vegetables, bread and milk. He still did not eat much. He must have a small apetite. He drinks almost 8 glasses of liquids a day plus snacks. All doctors tell me not to worry. I just want to find something he likes. |

Hi Vonda. I did not get a response, so I did not add another post. I guess a lot of people have the same problem and they are always adding somewhat the same group. Thanks for joining. I will add some more snacks that have gone over well. |

Toast, a piece of bread or a sandwich; sometimes peanut butter, but for the jam I mush up real fruit.( strawberries, bananas, pears, etc...) It gets messy, but it gets eaten. |

Smoothies in a blender, fruit vegetables, milk and juice. If I am using bananas I peel then freeze them, you can also add ice cubes. It is one way to get him to consume his vegetables. |

He really likes pumpkin muffins, so that is another easy vegetable. |
