We are scheduled to move there this summer. I am a SAHM of 3 kids...6,3,and 2. Any tips on where to buy our home? We will be shopping in May.

| We had our house built for us. We choose Fox and Jacobs who is owned by Centex. There is a 2 new home builder across from ours. We are on Teasley ln. and Wheeler Ridge. We are right next to Cornith which is also a great city to live in. Where are you guys moving from? It depends where you will be working because there are lots of cute citys in this small area. We are looking at Fox and Jacob homes. Last year when I was there I looked at ones off Teasley. My grown daughter lives in Corinth, that is why we choose Denton because we wanted to be close to her. We are moving from San Diego... the only place I have ever lived! My husband works on computers... he currently manages a computer store. I guess he should start looking for jobs on line. I am a SAHM but may do some babysitting to help with bills. I am a preschool teacher by education but managed a small wholesale business for many years before we adopted our 6 year old as an infant. Now we have two more and we need the space the new houses in Texas provide. Too expensive here. I am also curious about the schools but your son is too young for you to know that yet.

| I heard that property taxes could vary a lot for town to town. They are comparatively high in Denton compared to where we live now. I was wondering if anyone knows the best little town to live in tax wise??? We will be out there next month to purchase a home and officially become Denton Parents! (Or at least somewhere nearby) |

Hey Karolyn, I live in Denton and I moved here from California in Dec. ( Inland Empire) I found a playgroup on another website and have been going to playdates. We should get together. My son Kaleb will be 3 in oct.
