This may not be new information to everyone, but I found a couple of math websites that make review fun.
One is www.wildmath.com. This one has levels you can choose, 1st-2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, or 5th-6th grade and types of problems, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division or random. The kids can do a short game and answer questions then get their time and score. Not a huge excitement, but a break from worksheets.
The other one is Math Baseball at www.funbrain.com/math. This site has lots of other things that I haven't looked into yet. But the math baseball you answer questions to swing the bat, etc. The levels are easy to superbrain, and you can also choose addition, subtraction, multiplication, or a mix. This one also has an option for algebra style problems. I haven't actually tried this one, but it looks like fun. |
