| it is gorgeous, but always reminds me that the summer heat is on it's way... and I'm a native! Hope you are enjoying some fun, we went on a picnic the other day, cool enough to enjoy with our sweaters on! |

oh very true. I am trying not to think about the heat that will grace us soon. I am used to having 4 seasons originally from chicago. so i am going to enjoy this as much as i can . Unfortuantly we stayed in today. Had a house to clean. Think i will venture out tomorrow and take my son to the park.

| excellent idea! we stayed outside yesterday for most of the day cleaning up our playground and getting ready for more outdoor time... All the rain has been unusually nice but the toys were a mess! |

| I dont even want to look at my yard right now(between my youngest sons stuff and the older kids bikes and thing in the yard,the yard is a mess and i did not know we were going to have irrigation yesterday. so now everything is really a mess.I usually have things picked up out there so i would not have to deal with the mess that is there now. so guess what my DH is going to be doing this weekend... |

| we're house-painting this weekend. we started at Thanksgiving and every free weekend since has been a rainy one! So now that we have some sunshine we are determined to finish it all! |

Did Ya get the house painting done.
I can tell ya that my back yard was never touched. Sometimes what i would like to happen just does not. Other things came first.

| Thanks! I had a sad and BUSY weekend, but all is better now and I did get a lot of painting done, but am still not quite finished. I have the porch and backyard trim. But I planted 4 trees and organized the playarea so the kids could play again. It was crazy... My older sone did not get into a H.S. he wanted to attend. He was pretty disappointed because he's been working toward this for 4 years (since we moved here). He is better now though. I hope whatever kept you away from the yard was fun! sorry to hear about your son..things happen for a reason.
can he try again next year to get in. or is a one shot deal.
Not sure how all of that work. I know that my SS wanted to go to a certain HS but could not get in . so he is going to another. |

| Thank you! He was put on the waitlist and I got a nice call from the admissions director who offered (without request) to advocate for our guy. That was really a nice thing - I am hoping for a place in his second choice school because it is really my first choice. Does your son like his school? It is so hard here in PHX to figure out what to do. I have never worried so much about schooling! How was your weekend? It was so beautiful that we enjoyed some of it on our bikes and in the yard. I hope you are well. |
