Tylenol/Motrin

My daughter is teething & has an ear infectiion. I had taken her to nightime peds over the weekend & the dr there said that i could dose her with tylenol & motrin(alternating) every 3 hours. Has anyone ever heard of doing this? I'm really fearful of giving her to much stuff. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Hey Jennifer, yes, this is what my doctor recomended. It works...have you tried teething tablets? or gripe water for the teething thing? those are also really soothing remedies for teething...just a thought. My daughter just cut her 3rd tooth and now the other top three and starting to push their way out...teething tablets are all natural and my doctor said i should try those if i didn't want to use the tylenol.
