I want to give a party for my girl 1st birthday. I want it to be interesting , something different maybe, not expensive. Does anybody have any ideas? I won't have too many children, mostly adults. |

The latest issue of Parents magazine has the most darling ideas for birthday parties--I'm sure you will find something you like if you check it out. My little girl is onlly 7 months old and I'm already taking ideas from it. Good luck, and have fun!! |

I am having a 1st party for my baby boy soon and it is going to be a teddy bear party. I went to this cool party store in our area and got lots of teddy bears things. Then, I went to Krogers, our local grocery store, and ordered a teddy bear cupcake cake. It is soooo cute. You could try something like that. Not so messy with only one cupcake for the baby. |

My son turned 1 a month ago and we had the family over the house for a cook out, hamburger and hotdogs with all the fixins. We decorated it with Winnie the Pooh's first birthday, I found this cake pan with winnie the pooh holding a number 1 candle and that gave me the idea, I made and decorated the cake myself, (my very first one) it was fun and exciting , it turned out good. I also made cupcakes for my son and a few other kids that came. But do a little decorations and the rest target towards adults since she wont really remember this one, but you will so make it fun for YOU. |
