Hello everyone

My name is Crystal and I'm a SAHM of 2, Kate who is 4 and Jackson who is 2 months. Jackson has been my troublesome child since he was 7 weeks gestation, when my abrubtions started. I was induced at 35 weeks because of continued bleeding, I can't believe he made it that far. After he was born he spent over 50 days in the NICU and just came home about 3 weeks ago after having a G-Tube and a Fundo. He has an undiagnosed genetic connective tissue disorder or syndrome. We have no idea what the future will hold for him. I would like to talk to some Moms (or Dads) who have children who are mentally impared (MR) to get an idea of when they knew when their child was different. So far Jackson acts differently then his sister did, but we don't know if it a physical thing or a mental thing or both yet. Any information or advise would be greatly appreciated. Hi. I just read your post. This group doesn't seem to be very active. My child has downs and thus he does have a mental disability but its due to his downs. I wish I could help. Just wanted to say hi. Here is hoping this group grows.
