It is hard cause my 8 mo old is always following her big brother around. Now he is only 5 but he does watch over her. There are sometimes that he gets tired and wants to play by himself so I am trying to keep her from going to his room. But keeping up with both of them its harder for me to do the cleaning around the house. |

good luck with that... actually the other day the conversation of a puppy came up. i put a big NO on that one. my son is 2 and a half and is a handful. a puppy be a bad idea right now for many reasons. i see how my son is with my parents dog and she is a 150lb rottie. my son tortures her. so a puppy in this house OMG... I told my husband that i would love to have a dog( i really would) ( i miss my little yorkie) but lets wait till the little guy gets a little older. this way i can give a little more attention to a dog. |

it is a sight to see. the strange thing is when my son was born the dog thought she was his mommy. she would not let anyone near the baby, now that my son is older she runs the other direction..and wants nothing to do with him... i wish i had some words of advice on how to train the puppy. so that everyone was happy .. but i dont.. |

We bought a puggle 5 months before I had my son. It is a beagle pug mix. We'll anyway boy is he a hyper dog. In the beginning I liked having a puppy but now that I am so busy with my son it can be a lot of work. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone to get a dog before having a baby. |
